We've a number of regular events here at WHBC, with something for everyone! Whether it's our community well-being cafe or our busy weekly baby and toddler session, everyone is invited.

TUESDAY ‘LIFTOFF’ : 2:30pm every Tuesday
2.30 pm to 4 pm Every Tuesday except for short breaks at Easter and Christmas and the month of August
Living in Fellowship Together, One Friendly Family. A time of informal fellowship where everyone is welcome! Refreshments afterwards. If you are able, £1.50 donation goes to expenses and missionary support. |
WEDNESDAY SMALL GROUPS in homes and at church
At the Church 2.30pm and 7.30pm … The first Wednesday of the month is dedicated to prayer. Subsequent alternate Wednesdays, a small group meet in the church at 2.30 pm for Bible Study, Prayer and fellowship. Small groups meet in homes on a Wednesday evening 7.30 pm for Bible Study, Prayer and Fellowship.

Thursday 'Seaside Treasures', 9 - 11am
9 - 11am, every Thursday during term-time. No need to book - just show up!
An encouraging and supportive community group that runs every week, offering a friendly meeting place for toddlers as well as their parents/carers. A typical week sees a mixture of crafts, play, singing and snacks. Requested donation of £1 per family (includes snacks for the children and tea/coffee). Want to find out more about our youth work? Friday Youth: Kids Club & Youth Group
Kids Club, every term-time Friday, 4 - 5:30pm
A space to come and just be - for ages 4yrs to 10. A great selection of games (pool, table tennis, Switch), crafts, sports and snacks! We enjoy time just hanging out and enjoying each others company at the end of the week. We tend to wrap up the session with a lesson from the Bible and an 'all-in' game. Youth Group, every term-time Friday, 6 - 7:30pm
A safe space for our older youth - school years 7 - 13 - to come and 'chill' in a relaxed setting with games, craft, pool & table tennis, Switch and the always popular tuck-shop! Find out more about our work with young people here. |
Connect 4 Craft: 1st, 3rd and 5th Friday's of each month
'Poppin': 10:30 - 12 noon, every Saturday
THE 3.30 EXPERIENCE - first sunday of the month
Join us once a month on the first Sunday in the month for our community 'church'!
Designed for families where coming on a Sunday morning might be a bit too much, here we have a very different type of 'church' - a lot of playing, craft activities, some singing and a short talk about a variety of child-friendly topics. All are welcome! |
BREAKFAST TIME! something for everyone - 3rd Saturday of each month
8.15 for 8.30, the menfolk enjoy a full english (other options available). They meet in the church centre and usually there is a guest speaker talking on a wide variety of interesting topics. All menfolk welcome, this is not just for church-goers and many attend from the local community.
9:00 am the ladies meet at a local cafe, usually the Slice of Life by the slipway. All ladies are most welcome. Check the CONNECT notices for venue or contact our ministry assistant |
