LIVE STREAMING and VIDEO LINKS 2020 2021
Keep in touch via our Facebook page where you will find live streaming sessions, updates from Tim,
and helpful posts with links to other resources Even if you don't have a Facebook account you should be able to view our page as a visitor although you may have to do a little security test to prove you are not a robot - nothing personal.
New advice is coming in on an almost daily basis but we will do our best to keep this page updated. Here is a TRANSCRIPT OF TIM'S VIDEO MESSAGE TO US and below that you will find updated status of our services and groups.
Transcript of Tim's video Message 17th March:
The Prime Minister has this afternoon asked all in the UK to avoid all unnecessary travel and to stay away from pubs, clubs and theatres. Churches were not explicitly named, but it is clear that it is wisest for us to call off our meetings, services and groups until further notice. (People with the “most serious health conditions” were also told to avoid almost all social contact for 12 weeks, from this weekend.)
On Sundays we will be attempting to Live Stream a short service here on our Facebook page at 11am. I am also hoping to post regular updates and messages here in FB.
On Sunday over two dozen people signed up for our new Buddy Scheme to help those who are isolated. If you are an attendee or member of WHBC and can offer help to those amongst and connected to us - a daily phone or video call, shopping or posting mail - please let me know on revtimsutton@gmail.com. We are going to start matching up those in need with an appropriate Buddy. Naturally let's also try to be there for our neighbours, family and friends and local community as much as we can. So many will need love, care and very practical support.
God is faithful. He is the one Rock of stability that we can build our lives and hopes on. I'm pretty sure he is telling us right now not to be afraid and to love each other well. Christ shed his blood so we could have this loving relationship with God - and with one another. Let's step up the care and step up the prayer.
God bless you and keep you in his peace. Tim
